Pansy (or three-colored) is a small plant that belongs to the violet family. In herbal medicine, the aerial part is used, rich in flavonoids, tannins and vitamin E (antioxidant properties). These act in combined action to treat some skin diseases such as psoriasis, eczema and acne. The particular astringent properties of the tannins contained allow to regulate the sebum secretion of the skin, purifying it.
